Great to hear from you @Heath Robinson Man, I was starting to miss you and your After Action Reports possibly more than I should have.

We need a North of North meet.
I know we've got a couple of Scottish members, and a couple of others are visiting Scotland soon.
I've always had a wish to do a show in Badachro, a little village on the west coast that my Nan and Grandad used to holiday at.
Trouble is, Scotland is a very big firing site, we'd actually have to arrange narrowing down a time and place and we've struggled doing that even locally until very recently.
And who would drive the minibus? lol

    WELL BEEN A WHILE...!
There has been a wee probl em that impaired my firing etc...it was a rather issue of having a Stroke on 3rd November 2018...I did not realise this at the time and my son was not at home that day and for a few days. So though I knew things were not too clever but the weather was pooh on the 3rd so not good for firing as hoped for...and i was feeling a bit rough. Sunday the 4th was better for firing and despite my problems I felt up to fire some noisy stuff over 2 sessions apart , with nothing decent stuff fired but not too heavyweight as this was kept for the 5th.
On the 5th I was hoping to fire 2 sessions again. First one went well with cranking up things a bit with 3 inch mines, cat 3 rockets and a few cakes etc. However I struggled when returning home and I clearly was not going to be able to fire the hoped second firing later.
At home my son had returned and he was very concerned by my well being and thought I had had a stroke....He was right. A few of his friends were called and they agreed and the ambulance was called and me ended up going to hospital for 12 days. hence firing has not been so easy since then ...my extra new problems make it harder and cannot do as much as I had been doing.
Could not fire on Diwali as I was in hospital....awww

I did do a low noise session on 1st December with 32 smallish rockets and 21 other items.
New year was mainly using stuff not used on 5th nov. 17 big cat 3 rockets and 22 cat 2 (but noisy..ish) rockets. Non rockets were 3 decent cakes and 4 of some lovely Cube 3 inch mines to make things better.
Last session since then was only a small low noise episode of 24 rockets and 19 non rockets on 16th febuary 2019.
Weather and my physical condition has restricted me a lot for a while..and going online and typing is hampered amongst things from some of my stroke...oh and I have now been diagnosed as type 2 diabetic....and have a dodgy heart condition. Hopeful to fire a few more sessions soon.

    Damn! :(

Things haven't been going too well health-wise :(

I hope you recover / manage the conditions alright.

Sheesh, someone else having the same type of health luck as my Mrs the past two years (from type 2 diabetes to being hit by a car in the crosswalk). That being said, hopefully you get back into the swing of things, even with the downswings of life. At least you can still fire pyro by the sounds of it :)!

All the best in managing your conditions.

Good to hear from you @HRM, even though the news isn't great.
Hopefully you're on the road to recovery and things will improve in time for the next firing.
