    The King Rocket (Original)
    Gold Label

    RRP: £50
Average Selling Price: £n/a (Extremely difficult to find)

    Type: Rocket
    Duration: n/a
    Shots: Single Rocket
    Fanned: n/a
    Classification: 1.3G
    Pyromeshed: No

Description: I don't think this product needs a description. This truly is The King of rockets. The most magnificent golden willow burst fills the sky and then slowly rains back down upon you. There have been some admirable attempts at imitating this rocket but the original it still the best! All hail! :hail:

Yes Yes Yes, if you can get it, get it, as its the best rocket that a consumer can purchase albeit currently a bit over priced as its rare!!!

Possibly due to new regs once sold out probably will not be available anymore - but heres hoping someone can make one, import and sell it again at a reasonable price!!

Impossible to duplicate with the new regs Andy. Brothers (who made the original product) have tried this year with the new King Rocket. They've done a pretty good job really but not quite up to the astronomical standard set by this one.

Ive had many of these over the past few years, heres my thoughts:

An impressively sized rocket, as big as they get. The burst is a real sky filler with a good hangtime. Its more gold coloured than sky thriller, with a slightly better hangtime and a better 'willow' effect.
Fire 4 or more of these for a great rocket finale.

No they were all imported in 2004 by Brothers Rhys. Any that are now in the country have been here 6 years!!

They can't be imported any more and very hard/expensive to get hold of.

However Brothers have brought in a new product The New King, to replace it and if you look here on our rocket battle thread it even out performs the original!!

I'm not 100% sure but I think it will be fine as some shops sell old spec gear

If your not sure you could always give it to me :)

It should be fine, if you look at posts above the last ones imported was in 2004

    Out of date fireworks

Thats a relief! Still fireworks that are near there sell by date could be a good money spinner. say 30% off like they do at the supermarkets

Not exactly a "use by" date, perhaps more of a "best before" as older fireworks can have performance issues due to a number of factors. But it should be fine, if it has been stored properly etc.

never had a chance to get hold of the original king, but the newer version does look like an improvement, in which I fancy a few of these this year....:gasthrower:

mike you cant make a comment like that when you have never fired the original.I have and the new king is not a patch on the original and that is why they are as rare as rocking horse s**t,the new king rocket is as good as whats out there now but not an improvement as many more would tell you .:chinaman:

It was a beautiful rocket indeed with a stunningly wonderful gold titanium willow which dropped many a jaw that saw it! It was jawdroppingly brilliant. It was quite unbelievable in its quality and delivery of effect, shame we will never see the likes of something similar to it ever again:(
