S just needed rescuing from a strange noise behind her bedroom curtain.
I don't blame her for not looking herself, but it was hardly Salem's Lot* loud scratching.
It was just a tiny slug, halfway up a tomato plant pot.

They do have a loud rasping noise just moving, not eating - but here I agree with Sir Anthony :sparkler: over S, it is more annoying than scary!

I already apologised to Sir Anthony :sparkler: for doubting that slugs are noisy pests, after I heard one attack an apple when I was out stargazing a meteor shower, but I thought he'd appreciate this confirmation that they are also noisy whilst not eating, but being hidden by a curtain.

And I wanted my heroics on the record, obvs.

    * I watched that film way too young, so I guess half of you won't understand that reference.
Still hate vampires now, and if that's racist so be it. Zombies I can deal with, but these vampires? No.

    Are snails noisy?

No reports of any snails yet, but our crack team of listeners are still on the job.

I can confirm that Worms (any larger than micro/Banana/Grindal) are noisy once you get a few of them together, and again it's the movement as much as the eating.
It's actually a nice thing to hear though, because it means your culture is a good size.

In summary; Worms are noisy in numbers, but it is not annoying (or scary).
