If you can handle lots of spotty faced students, then on Thursday the 3rd November, there is a FREE fireworks display at the University of Birmingham.

I've been now for the last 5 years and it gets better every time.

Did I mention it was FREE?

Thanks for putting it in the right place Pyromaniac!

I thought for a moment that I'd violated some forum rules! Phew.

Went last night, no rain, loads of students and a fantastic display! loads of huge shells fired and a ton of great effects.

Am I the only one from here that went?

It really is worth doing next year if you missed it! :rave:

Anyone know which company puts this on?

Sounds good, but a bit far for me mate.
How many people were there? sounds like it would be busy if its free!

it does get very busy to be fair, couldn't tell you how many people attending, but I'd hazard a guess at somewhere maybe between 1000 and 1500? That is a huge guess to be honest and I'm not good at judging numbers!

I did find a video online, but it might be best without sound as it was taken on someones phone by the look of it
